"Suite Yosemite is so sweet and easy to find. We were lucky to spend a few days at Katherine's and John's comfy and spacious place this spring. The room was very large with windows looking out over the back of the property and down the valley. The bathroom is good-sized too -- bigger than one of my first apartments-- with a lot of counter space, beautiful tile, a big window, a nice big bathtub for a luxurious soak and a romantic shower for two. The bedroom is super clean, freshly painted in a crisp white and has such comfortable chairs and pillows. The bed was a very comfy queen size mattress with plush comforter and super-soft sheets.
"The kitchenette worked perfectly for breakfast and lunch -- there's a fridge, fresh coffee service, microwave, toaster, sink, table & chairs. The large windows let in plenty of light and all the windows have blinds for privacy. I'm sure they're good for keeping the place cool in the summer when it's a bit warmer.
"What a view out of those windows! A storm had come through and left some scattered clouds that just hung there in the valley -- even dropped a little bit of snow one night. Katherine said to keep a lookout for a fox but we had no luck this time but we did see some deer -- two fawns and a doe. And the birds, such a variety of birds. She and John have an amazing knowledge of the local wildlife on their private 3-1/2 acre property -- sure seems bigger to me. They hava great interpretive trail guide and signage on the property too.
"The night sky was phenomenal - we were on the deck, star-gazing with some hot tea and were awestruck. The quietness of the place was soothing, very zen-like. We slept like the proverbial logs at night and didn't see a soul when walking around the place during the day. And yet you are so close to quite a lot -- Yosemite NP, Bass Lake, Oakhurst. We had some good eats in Oakhurst - Crab Cakes Restaurant & Sweetwater Steakhouse -- thanks to Katherine's and John's recommendation. Everybody was so very friendly wherever we went - t was a truly refreshing, recharging and relaxing visit. A repeat visit is definitely a must."

"My fiancé and I went up to Oakhurst, near Yosemite for a weekend getaway to Suite Yosemite. We were greeted in the doorway by Katherine and John. They showed us information pamphlets on trails and activities to do in the area. They were excellent hosts.
"The suite itself is very elegant. In addition to the bed and dressers, the suite contains an eating area, plush furniture, and a master bathroom. The gift basket offered provided a delicious breakfast of breads and condiments. The view of the hillside is gorgeous. "Suite Yosemite is perfect for many purposes. It is a good base for visiting Yosemite and Bass Lake. Guests can relax and walk nearby trails. Students and professionals can focus on their work..A guest will truly get his or her money's worth at Suite Yosemite. We had an amazing time."
